IT Facilities

Ormskirk
There are PCs available in the Sanderson Library Resource Room. There are also printing and scanning facilities available and NHS wifi connection.

Southport
The IT Suite is an IT training facility within the Hanley Library, with PCs and an interactive white board. When it is not booked it is a drop-in facility for staff and students to access a computer.

​In addition to the IT Suite, there are also PCs in the main library area. There are also printing and scanning facilities, NHS wifi connection and 2 docking stations for laptops.

 

Whiston
The library in Nightingale House has 22 PCs plus spaces for you to use your own devices. Printing and scanning facilities are available along with wifi connection.

Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi is free on all sites. Select NHS Wi-Fi or Govroam and follow the on-screen instructions to register. Alternatively, you can connect to the Eduroam network with your university details.

Study Space

All libraries offer space to study and work quietly away from busy clinical areas.


Wellbeing Space

This is a bright, relaxing, calm space which is available 24/7 on a drop in basis. There is a selection of wellbeing reading material and comfortable chairs, offering a quiet space to have some private time out for yourself.  It is also available if you would like to have a Wellbeing Conversation with a colleague away from busy clinical or office areas.
